From an article first published in Easdale People magazine,
Issue No 17, Autumn 2003.
Rapture Theatre returned to Eilean Eisdeal Hall to present Frankie and
Johnny, a tender and warm love story about two lonely people who find love
and life against the Big Apple. Made into a film starring Michelle
Pfeiffer and Al Pacino, this funny, warm story told how a short order cook
and a waitress found that they had more in common than they had first
realised.
Directed by Michael Emans, the play featured Julie Duncanson as 'Frankie'
and Lewis Howden as 'Johnny'.
Once again Rapture ensured that we left the show with our hearts lifted, a
smile on our faces and perhaps, maybe thinking about love all over again.
No doubt they'll be back with another play as it seems they are getting a
tad fond of the Puffer Bar.
