Tyree Hunter, like the island of her namesake, conjures up images as well as the sounds of the breezes and gails that the Scottish isle is famous for. These wild conditions could also be an apt description of Tyree's personality (breezy) and the music that bursts from her melodic heart. If a gentle breeze to a wild wind can be conveyed musically, then Tyree's Indie Island Folk sound captures that beauty and that exhilaration! Performing, singing and playing since the age of four, Tyree was born for taking her musical soul to an audience. Alternating between her home near Stirling and a home on Easdale Island, Tyree had the stamp of the islands, their solitude, their sunshine, their changeable weather, their ocean swells, their gusts and crashing waves infused into the very fabric of her being.

She may only be 16 years old, but she is already a mature songwriter, lyricist, singer, musician and performer with aims to conquer many a stage, many a festival, many a place in the charts. Tyree Hunter is on the hunt for success and there will be millions won over by the charm of this island girl and her one of a kind indie island Folk sound!

Support is provided by Scottish Folk legend, Watt Nicoll, rated as one of the great Scots along with Hamish Imlach, Gerry Rafferty, Matt McGinn and Billy Connolly.
