Sheelanagig are a five-piece acoustic group from Bristol who play a high energy blend of Celtic and East European music, with elements of gypsy / latin jazz and ska. They have played at festivals and venues all over the UK in the last two years, as well as being the only UK band invited to perform at the Ferrara Buskers Festival in North Italy in 2006. Other festival appearances have included the Knockengorrach World Ceildh, the Larmer Tree Festival, Broadstairs Folk Festival and many others.
They are releasing their second full length album in May. Find more information about the band and hear some tracks from Their first album on-line.
